What are Oracles?

Oracles are data feeds that collate various types of information from off-chain resources and then submit this data to a blockchain for use in determining the outcome of smart contracts.

BetDEX does not currently use oracles but intends to integrate them in the future for use in the creation and settlement of events and markets.
