  • Try to understand the odds/probabilities of winning and losing, and ensure you understand how the BetDEX Exchange itself works when placing wagers.

  • Utilize the limits controls in your account to help you control the amount you can spend.

  • If you need a break from gambling, time-outs and self-exclusion can limit or completely block your access to the Exchange and your account.

Player Controls: Setting Limits, Time Out and Self-Exclusion

BetDEX offers the tools you need to self-control your gambling. Should you wish to set limits, or otherwise require a break from online gambling with BetDEX, you can visit your account settings or email support@betdex.com to utilize any of the following tools:

Setting Limits

Setting limits allows you to control and limit the amount you can wager to appropriate amounts in any order. Requests to increase any previously set maximum amount is allowed only after 7 daysโ€™ notice.

Time Out

A โ€œtime outโ€ enables you to take a break from gambling. Electing to take a time out will restrict you from placing any wagers for the period you select (for example, 24/48/72 hours, or longer). Once you have selected the time desired and have confirmed, you will be unable to place any wagers during this period, and BetDEX is not permitted to override it.

If you have unmatched Exchange bets these will be cancelled, and your wager will be returned to your wallet in accordance with our Terms. Any matched bets (full or partial) will stand.

To take a time out please visit your account and follow the instructions for setting a time out or contact support@betdex.com for assistance to set a time out on your behalf and per your instructions.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a longer break from gambling, you can choose to self-exclude. If you elect to self-exclude, your BetDEX account will be suspended to you for the period of self-exclusion to elect and will not be reactivated under any circumstances during this period. The minimum period of self-exclusion is six (6) months, and for up to 5 years.

If you have unmatched Exchange bets these will be cancelled, and your wager will be returned to your wallet in accordance with our Terms. Any matched bets (full or partial) will stand.

Underage Gambling

BetDEX does not permit anyone under the age of 18 to open an account or utilize the Exchange. We take this responsibility very seriously. ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 FOUND TO BE USING THIS SITE WILL HAVE ANY WINNINGS FORFEITED AND MAY ALSO BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE.

BetDEX advises and encourages our customers to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites. ICRA (the Internet Content Rating Association) are part of the Family Online Safety Institute and provide general information and advice on internet safety. Where difficulties arise, it is important that you recognize the warning signs as quickly as possible so that you can utilize the tools mentioned above to control your gambling, and to get further help if needed.
